Reach
At Reach we are extremely thankful for the ongoing support from Hope NI. Reach partners with local schools to empower young people to be the best version of themselves that they can be. Reach provides on-to-one mentoring through trained volunteers to support young people who are facing difficult life circumstances. These young people are often at risk of educational exclusion; often battling low-self esteem, difficult home and self-destructive behaviour.
Financial support from Hope NI allows us to provide this service in Lurgan, Portadown and central Craigavon, working within 17 schools and mentoring approximately 220 young people each week. We journey with young people who are aged from primary six to school leaver. Encouraging them with things are difficult and celebrating with them when they achieve success. We help young people set small obtainable goals that help them move toward their bigger goal, while learning essential life skills along the way.
